1993 TNJ launches in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, with first major advertiser, AT&T.
1995  TNJ website established.
1997 Outstanding Media Award, National Minority Business Council Inc. (NMBC); Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Magellan 3-Stars Internet Site Award.
1998 Move from Brooklyn to Manhattan. First “40 Under Forty” issue.
1999 First “25 Influential Black Women in Business” issue.
2000 Switch to glossy magazine from tabloid format.
2002 First Entrepreneurs Resource Guide.
2003 Tenth Anniversary celebration.
2004 TNJ Life section created. Move to new headquarters at 39 Broadway, Manhattan.
2005 Visit by Hector Barreto, administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
2006 Outstanding Media Award, NMBC.
2007 Tenth Anniversary of the 40 Under Forty Awards.
2008 New York Association of Black Journalists Award for coverage of Black entrepreneurship. Launch of exclusive Capital Markets indices.
2009 Publication of Africa Strictly Business, The Steady March to Prosperity.
Collaboration with the government of Senegal on first-ever “Destination Africa” financial investment forum. NYABJ Trailblazer Award. Redesign and relaunch of TNJ.com. 
2010 Launch of Africa edition of  40  Under Forty Achievers Awards in Accra, Ghana.
2011 TNJ begins to publish eight times a year from original 10.
2012 Fifteen consecutive years of 40 Under Forty Achievers Awards (USA). Magazine begins to publish 6 times a year.
2013 Fifteen consecutive years of 25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards.  Publisher and executive editor launch AfricaStrictly Business.com.
