TNJ 25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards

TNJ25 women logoLaunched in March 1999, The Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards honors women whose professional achievements have significantly impacted an industry or profession, and who also have made an important contribution to their community. A “TNJ25” honoree typically is a business owner, or a partner, president, CEO, board chair, or other senior-management executive with significant decision-making authority in the corporate, nonprofit (including academia and medicine), or government sector.

Launched in June 1998, The Network Journal’s 40 Under-Forty Achievement Awards honors men and women under 40 years old whose professional accomplishments have significantly impacted an industry or profession, and who also have made an important contribution to their community. A “TNJ 40 Under-Forty” honoree typically is a business owner, or a management executive with significant decision-making authority in the corporate, nonprofit (including academia and medicine), or government sector.

Launched in November 2010, the Africa edition of The Network Journal’s annual “40 Under Forty Black Achievement Awards” recognizes and honors Africa’s next generation of business and professional leaders – men and women under the age of forty who are excelling in their chosen industry sectors, and who are committed to the social and economic development of the continent. The intention of this program is to showcase positive images of Africa while recognizing and rewarding the entrepreneurial spirit and dynamism of Africa’s business and professional communities.
