Last week at its 2014 Vision Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New
York City, the Dance Theater of Harlem (DTH) celebrated its 45th
anniversary. By the end of the evening, $700,000 was raised to benefit Dance Theater’s Next Generation and Community Engagement funds.
The film "12 Years a Slave" won in major categories last night at the
Oscars, namely for its Best Picture award. The film also won for Best
