Working moms never seem to have enough time. You have a lot on your
plate--you’re trying to focus on your career while raising a healthy and
happy family. And sometimes it feels like you should clone yourself.
But maybe there are things you are doing--or not doing--that are
sabotaging your efforts. Here, work/life balance experts weigh in.
Back in the 1990s, political scientist Joseph Nye of Harvard University
coined the phrase “soft power” to describe the ability to gain cooperation
and agreement through appeal and attraction rather than the use force or
money. Fast forward to 2015, and now some workplace experts say that as more
women are becoming heads of major corporations, the executive woman can
more effectively use soft power as a means of persuasion.
