Negotiations are often likened to war, and countless Hollywood movies
have made it seem like the key to negotiating is being recklessly
aggressive. While aggressiveness isn’t a bad thing, in real life the
best negotiations are ones where both parties feel like they
accomplished something and were mutually acknowledged.
Being a young entrepreneur (which we are defining as anyone under 35) is incredibly exciting. Every entrepreneur’s path to success
is uniquely their own and what worked for one may not work as well for
the other. While there’s no definitive formula to success as an
entrepreneur, there are a few things you should be mindful of.
Skilled people tend to get promoted to the corner offices or deluxe cubicles of management—yet management requires a special set of skills that are often different from the skills that earned the promotion in the first place.
