Jet Set Mindset Hampton's Charity Event

The Black Ivy Alumni League (BIAL), the premier advocacy organization representing Black alumni of the eight prestigious Ivy League institutions, has announced that they will be hosting a charity weekend getaway in the Hamptons entitled Jet Set Mindset, August 20th-21st 2011. The 1st Annual Jet Set Mindset Hamptons was created in effort to help The League continue their legacy of giving back within their community, by mentoring black youths, along with being able to provide them with scholarship monies for education. This weekend of fun in the sun will kickoff with a Health, Wealth & Lifestyle Symposium, with guest speakers such as, Clyde Vanel, ESQ., Vanessa Leggard, and Ayinde Howell. Other scheduled events on the roster include, Wine Tasting, Pool Party, Old Skool Party with a Purpose, Golf & The Black Jewels. The weekend will conclude with brunch at B. Smith’s Restaurant along with The Game Changers Book Launch, which will include guest speakers as well. Venues for charity weekend include Bridgehampton Community House & Hyatt Place. Tickets for the Jet Set Mindset Hamptons Event are currently sale on for the price of $150.00 for early registration through August 13th. After early registration, tickets will be $199.
