John Comissiong was named director of sales administration, North American Sales, at Harley-Davidson Motor Co. He will oversee the execution of the company’s motorcycle allocation policy and North American sales programs and promotions. Comissiong began his career at Harley-Davidson in 2003 as a “project lead,” guiding efforts to install Material Velocity distribution centers at the Kansas City and York final assembly plants. He later served as the company’s e-commerce product marketing manager. Comissiong earned a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering at Cornell University and Stony Brook University, respectively, and a master’s in business administration at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. | |

Ed Magee was promoted to general manager of Powertrain Operations at Harley-Davidson Motor Co.’s facility on Capitol Drive in Wauwatosa,Wis. Magee will work with the remanufacturing program and production of transmissions and engines for all Sportster and air-cooled Buell motorcycles. Magee previously was director of Service Strategy and Technical Communi-cations, where he developed Digital Technician II, a next-generation electrical system diagnostics tool for H-D’s 1,400-plus dealerships worldwide. At the York Vehicle Operations facility in York, Pa., he helped develop and map the material process flow, while contributing to the area’s start-up Softail plant. Magee has a B.Sc. in mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy, a M.P.A. from George Mason University and a M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. | |

Aubyn Elaine Thomas was appointed senior vice president of marketing services at Macy’s. Thomas’s responsibilities include driving growth and service excellence for Macy’s financial services businesses; credit, loyalty and multicultural marketing; creating sources of value for Macy’s 40 million debit and credit-card holders. Previously, Thomas was vice president of the brand and acquisition marketing group at Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. in Las Vegas, with responsibility for growth and development of the industry’s largest distributor of casino brands, generating more than $9 billion in annual sales. She has bachelor’s degrees in mathematics from Spelman College and electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. in marketing from Clark Atlanta University. | |
