Look at raising a family as a different kind of constraint, and do not be afraid to say “no” to extra work or hours until you adjust to your new child.

Assign tasks to others for the first six months or so after having your child. Following that period, adjust your workload as needed after you discover how you are managing your new parental responsibilities. If you are a sole proprietor, hire an assistant or intern to handle more menial job duties, like answering the phone or running errands.
