On December 12, 2012, the New York City Mission Society held its bicentennial gala at The Pierre. Cicely Tyson and Kathryn C. Chenault, Esq. were among the honorees. The Reverend Dr. Calvin O. Butts III and Dina Merrill Hartley were the Honorary Chairs.
