Last week, National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial and a delegation of economists met with Janet Yellen, Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, on the issue of the lack of diversity within the Federal Reserve. What began two and half years ago as a dream cultural connection between
Harlem and Havana, Cuba is practically a reality. At a press

Recently, the U.S. State Department held an online press conference to discuss the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Summit. This year’s Summit agenda and how the U.S.
Government and major U.S. private sector partners are supporting GES and
entrepreneurs around the world was discussed. They also spoke about how fostering
entrepreneurship around the globe is important to U.S. foreign policy.
Last year, the Congressional Black Caucus launched to CBC Tech 2020 Initiative to address the lack of African American talent in the technology pipeline. On its one-year anniversary, the initiative is still going strong.
