In the past three years, Michelle Obama has graced national stages, global arenas and fashion magazine covers.
And Black women everywhere have loved every minute of it.
A recent survey shows that a high percentage of Black women see themselves in Mrs. Obama and identify with her along racial lines. In a country where the first lady in any presidential administration is often a topic of conversation and, at times, scrutiny, Mrs. Obama’s popularity and likeability are through the roof. And in no group is this more prevalent than amongst African-American women.
