On the heels of his recent visit to the Caribbean, U.S.
President Barack Obama has launched the Young Leaders of the Americas
Initiative whereby young, emerging entrepreneurs in Central
America and the Caribbean will have the opportunity to expand on their
business ideas through a stream of ongoing support via mentorship, and
networking and investment opportunities.
Students across the country have until June 25, 2015 to
submit their 250-word essays to qualify for OneUnited Bank’s
“I Got Bank!” contest. The nation's largest Black-owned bank, OneUnited is in the business
of promoting financial literacy for urban youth. Here, we caught up with Teri Williams, bank president and author, to talk about the contest.

Technology, Energy, and Mining signed a statement of intent in Jamaica
today to advance their shared interest in sustainable energy. Areas of
