On the heels of a $150,000 grant to the University of Michigan-Flint to enable the University of Michigan-Flint to develop a comprehensive data platform that will assist government and community leaders in making more informed decisions about the water crisis, Google today announced $250,000 in grant funding to partners in the Flint community to help resolve the crisis, with a special focus on using data and technology.
For the next 28 days of Black History Month, AT&T will honor African American men and
women, from popular artists and ambassadors, to college presidents and
business leaders, who are uplifting their communities, making strides in
their professions and wowing the world at large. A series of inspiring articles and videos will be uploaded to the company's website beginning with Wayne A. I. Frederick; Ambassador Andrew Young; and Rosalind Brewer just to name a few.
