For the next 28 days of Black History Month, AT&T will honor African American men and
women, from popular artists and ambassadors, to college presidents and
business leaders, who are uplifting their communities, making strides in
their professions and wowing the world at large. A series of inspiring articles and videos will be uploaded to the company's website beginning with Wayne A. I. Frederick; Ambassador Andrew Young; and Rosalind Brewer just to name a few.
The last two weeks of HARLEM WEEK 2015 were amazing and historic. On
Tuesday, August 11th at Columbia University, the 2nd Annual Basil
Paterson Business Awards Luncheon was held. The luncheon was emceed by
NY1 senior Anchor Cheryl Wills to a full house of four hundred
Harvard professor, scholar and author Henry Louis Gates, Jr. has received stellar reviews for his in-depth new documentary, "The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross," which premiered on PBS last Tuesday.
