INFLUENTIAL BLACK WOMEN IN BUSINESS
AWARDS LUNCHEON
The Network Journal, New York’s leading Black
professional and small business magazine, presented on Thursday,
March 13, at the Marriott New York Marquis, one of the most
prestigious events in the city of New York — The
25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards. For
the ninth consecutive year, the Luncheon event recognized some
of the most successful women in business.
From among the ranks of professionals, 25 deserving women for
the award, chosen from hundreds of nominations, were honored
in an exciting program. Previous events featured speakers such
as Byron Lewis, President/Founder of UniWorld;
George Fraser, Motivational Speak
and Founder of the FraserNet PowerNetworking Conference;Public
Relations Phenomena, Terrie Williams; and Kelvin
Boston, President of Boston Media.

was our 2008 Mistress of Ceremonies.
This was an occasion to celebrate women leading the way. As
always, there was plenty of humor, anecdotes and the opportunity
to renew acquaintances and network.
