EDITORIAL PROFILE
The Network Journal reaches professionals, small business owners and upwardly mobile individuals. Motivating articles on innovative business techniques provide the reader with essential knowledge for today's business climate. Each issue gives business owners new ideas in areas such as management techniques, marketing, legal matters, taxes and office technology. Profiles of successful professionals and small business owners are offered as models for guidance and direction. Each issue speaks to the individual who strives for the competitive edge. Past issues are often retained for future reference.

FREQUENCY DISCOUNTS
Advertising must be inserted within the year of first insertion to earn frequency discounts. To qualify for a 10-time rate, insertion must run in 10 consecutive issues. Frequency determined by number of months of insertions.

UNFULFILLED CONTRACTS
Unfulfilled contracts or contracts canceled by advertiser prior to completion will be short-rated at the lowest rate earned. Insertion orders may not be canceled after the 5th of each month.

ORDER ERRORS
Oral agreements will be binding on the publisher. Insertion orders submitted by advertisers containing incorrect rate or conditions will be inserted and charged for in compliance with rates and conditions shown in this rate card. Errors will be considered clerical only.

LIABILITY FOR PAYMENT
Publisher may hold advertiser and its agency jointly and severally liable for all sums due and payable to the publisher.

PUBLISHER'S APPROVAL
All advertising must be approved in advance by the publisher. Publisher may require the word "advertisement" to appear in any advertisement.

PUBLISHER'S LIABILITY
The liability of the publisher for any error or omission or delay for which it may be held legally responsible, shall in no event exceed the cost of the space paid for and occupied by such individual advertisement. Special section topics are subject to change. Advertisers and their agencies will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the publisher from any claim and all loss, expense or liability arising out of the publication of any advertising copy.

PRINTING PROCESS
Web offset on 30 pound newsprint. All camera-ready advertising should be actual size. Half tones are screened at 85 lines. Publisher cannot guarantee reproduction quality of material screen at more than 85 lines or material with extremely fine or small print.     

DISTRIBUTION
The Network Journal is distributed on the first business day of each month (except December/January which are combined issues). Majority of the publication printed each month are mailed directly to small business owners and professionals. The remaining copies are distributed throughout business lectures, seminars, expos and Newsstands.

SUBSCRIPTION RATE
(10 issues: $15; Back issues: $5 each)

ADVERTISING DEADLINE
Published monthly. The deadline for reservation of space and copy is 4 p.m. the 15th of each month for the following month. If this date falls on a weekend, the deadline is 4 p.m. the previous Friday. Earlier deadlines may be required for special sections and projects.

GUARANTEED PLACEMENT
(Published rate plus 15%)

PRODUCTION SERVICES
Rates are based on the advertiser providing camera-ready artwork. All non camera-ready ads are subject to an additional $25 charge. Color separations must be provided by the advertiser.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This is net rate. Advertising Agency please add your service charge and commission. First-time display advertisers and classified section advertisers are required to pay in advance of issuance. A full 10% discount will be applied to all prepaid ads.   

SERVICE CHARGES
A 1.5% per month charge (18% annual percentage rate) will be added for accounts 30 days or more past due. Accounts remaining unpaid after 90 days following statement date will be turned over to collections.
