The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Pennsylvania Chapter presents the 24th Annual Madam C.J. Walker Awards Luncheon and Economic Development Seminar, Saturday March 13, 2010 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The Annual Madam C.J. Walker Award, which is given to recognize outstanding African American women entrepreneurs, will be bestowed to a deserving local businesswoman. During the luncheon three women continuing education will be awarded with Triple Crown Scholarships, awards given to an adult female continuing education, a college bound graduating senior and a current college student. In addition to the luncheon, there is a FREE Economic Development Seminar themed Planning for Financial Security – How Healthy Is Your Plan?, which begins at 9:00 a.m. with presenters from many diverse fields of business.
