Letters to the Editor - November 2005
As a dealer of fine art from Zimbabwe and an African-American male, I just want to thank you for the terrific article on Ms. [Valerie] Cooper (Cover story, September 2005). Although I am a “fewww years” older than she is, I will make her one of my idols. I wish her continued success and prosperity. I didn’t see a Web site for Ms. Cooper’s business. I would like to see some of the art that she carries. Thanks!!!!!

Kudos for Information
I am no stranger to your magazine, but since deciding to start my own business the information that TNJ provides has become even more meaningful. It is comparable to the [biblical] Book of Proverbs: truly enlightening. This year’s 40 Under-Forty issue (June) was particularly inspiring, for it made me see what my age peers can accomplish. The “Africa Focus” column in each issue is also priceless because it teaches us so much about a land where our roots are deeper than slavery. I applaud you for your efforts to uplift and empower our community through knowledge and information in the spirit of “each one, teach one.”
