Baron Carr
Baron Carr, a 2004 TNJ 40 Under-40 honoree, is the new vice president of multicultural marketing for Allianz Life Insurance. Carr will develop new programs and marketing tools to help recruit a more diverse distribution network and support existing agents and registered representatives who serve multicultural markets. He will also work with the company’s employees and executive management in creating a more diverse workplace through recruiting, education and training programs. Prior to taking on this new role, Carr was vice president of emerging markets and product development for JPMorganChase’s automotive finance division, where he directed the development of an award-winning multicultural marketing campaign for the bank’s corporate advertising group.
Eric Price
Eric Price is the new senior vice president for neighborhood markets at Local Initiatives Support Corp. (LISC), in New York City. He will oversee a number of national LISC programs, including the Center for Commercial Revitalization, the New Markets Tax Credit Initiative, the Community Safety Initiative, the Community Investment Collaborative for Kids and the Youth Development and Recreation Initiative. He will also manage and lead LISC’s partnership with State Farm Insurance Cos. and will develop new partnerships at the national level to help revitalize neighborhood markets. Most recently, Price was Washington, D.C.’s deputy mayor for planning and economic development.
Nicole D. Taylor
Nicole D. Taylor - Duffey Communica-tions, the 20-year-old public relations and marketing firm owned by Lee and Jenny N. Duffey, was sold to the existing management team. Nicole D. Taylor was named president of the 20-year-old agency. Taylor, who attended Florida A & M University, formerly worked at Ketchum and Matlock Advertising & Public Relations. She brings 13 years of consumer brand and multicultural marketing to the Duffey’s new leadership team. As president, Taylor will oversee all client relations and account service activities.
