Letters to the Editor - September 2004
Dear Editor:
Dr. Thomas’s article (Viewpoint—“Lies and Illusions: On same-sex marriage, abortion, God and government,” June 2004) is beautiful and so well written. It is exactly how I feel; I just could not put my words together to explain. Thank you for such a beautiful article. I had a discussion with a couple of women who feel that same-sex marriage is okay. They explained to me that artificial insemination and test tube babies are examples of how same-sex marriages can have children. I explained to them that even when using these medical procedures, they still need to have something from a man and something from a woman. I explained to them that God has spoken and we are just ignoring it.

Dear Editor:
I recently attended your 40-Under-Forty awards ceremony as an honoree. I would like to thank you for including me in this circle of influential, rising stars. Since my selection, I have generated strong business leads and nurtured budding personal and professional relationships. I look forward to supporting your golf outing in the fall and the retreat in Jamaica. Thanks again for the honor and opportunity.
