Dear Editor: I wanted to personally thank you and the staff at TNJ for giving me the opportunity to be honored as one of the 25 Influential Black Women this year. It was one of the most delightful and rewarding experiences I've ever been a part of. Thank you again for this unique opportunity.

Dear Editor: As a recent high school graduate, I was really happy to attend the 40 Under Forty event, which gave me the opportunity to meet Black professionals. It was very inspirational to meet Black people who are doing what you see yourself doing in the near future. As someone who is thinking about starting his own business, I would really appreciate more information on how to get contacts, mentoring, guidance and financial advice, and more emphasis on young professionals and entrepreneurs.

We have already begun to include much of the information you wish to see in TNJ. In this issue, for example, you will find information on mentorship programs in the utilities industry, business and job contacts, entrepreneurship and job-seeking success tips, and advice on investing in the stock market. Our 2003 Entrepreneurs' Resource Guide, a separate publication, also is chock-full of valuable information on starting and running a business. You can obtain a copy by calling our offices at (212) 962-3791.

Dear Editor: Thank you for including me in your list of Top Black Doctors. We know that we are doing a good service in our communities, regardless of the fact that patients are not getting the information since many African American physicians are not listed in the majority media. For your next issue, you might want to include Dr. David Scott, the only Black nephrologist [kidney specialist] in Queens/Long Island who was trained by Harold Freeman at Harlem Hospital, and Dr. Donna Mendes from Lenox Hill Hospital, one of the only African American women vascular surgeons in the country.
