   As a nation that prides itself on the acceptance of individuality and the contributions made by its diverse population, the observance of March as Women’s History Month gives us a special occasion to honor the trailblazing contributions that women of every race, class, and ethnic background have made to the growth and strength of this country.

 Embracing Change
 
   Spring is a good time to embrace change, both within us and outside us. Oscar Wilde, the 19th century English writer, said the only thing that one really knows about human nature is that it changes. The systems that fail, he said, are those that rely on the permanency of human nature, and not on its growth and development.
