Paula Banks

Paula Banks was named senior vice president, global diversity and organization partnerships, for PepsiCo, of Purchase, N.Y. She previously served as senior vice president, social strategy and policy, at BP Amoco in London, and president of the BP Foundation. She will develop internal programs and establish PepsiCo as a leader in promoting an inclusive and diversified work environment. She reports to Chairman and CEO Steve Reinemund.

Gregory B. Williams

Gregory B. Williams was named partner, litigation, at Fox Rothschild LLP, Philadelphia. His practice involves antitrust, contractual disputes, and business torts, securities, officer and director disputes, restrictive covenants and trade secrets. Williams earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, and bachelor�s degrees in business administration and economics from Millersville University.

Francis N. Byrd

Francis N. Byrd was named vice president in the credit division of Community Capital Bank, Brooklyn, N.Y. His primary responsibility will be establishing policies and procedures to expand the bank�s Small Business Administration portfolio. Prior to joining Community Bank, Byrd worked at Banco Popular for nearly 10 years and as manager for branches in Brooklyn and Queens operated by Lincoln Savings Bank, Citibank and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Michael H. Reed

Michael H. Reed, a partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP, Philadelphia, became president-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, making him the first African-American to preside over the 108-year-old organization. He will assume his presidency in May 2004. Reed concentrates his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency law. A graduate of Temple University and Yale Law School, he has been at Pepper Hamilton since 1972.
