Phil Andrews
Phil Andrews was named public relations director for the African Atlantic Genealogical Society. Active in New York's Caribbean American/African-American communities for more than a decade, Andrews has been a member of the board of directors of 100 Black Men and of the Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce, and served as public relations director of the West Indian American Chamber of Commerce. He currently is the public relations director for C&B Books Distribution, one of the fastest growing online bookstores in the country.
Yvonne Jackson
Yvonne Jackson was named head of corporate human resources at Pfizer Inc. Jackson will be responsible for overall strategy development and execution of Pfizer's human resources policies and initiatives. She was also appointed to the Pfizer Leadership Team, the company's senior executive governing body, which consists of Hank McKinnel, Pfizer's chairman and chief executive officer, and seven other members. Prior to joining Pfizer, Jackson headed the human resources departments at Compaq Computer and Burger King.
Barbara Ross-Lee, D.O., FACOFP
Barbara Ross-Lee, D.O., FACOFP, was named chairman of the board of directors of the Association of Academic Health Centers. Dr. Ross-Lee is currently vice president for health sciences and medical affairs and dean of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Prior to her appointment at NYIT, she served for eight years as dean of the school of medicine and professor in the department of family medicine at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Larry D. Thompson
Larry D. Thompson, a former U.S. deputy attorney general, was elected to the board of directors of Delta Airlines. After leaving the Department of Justice, Thompson joined the Brookings Institution, a public policy think tank in Washington, D.C., as a senior fellow. He has extensive legal experience in corporate, federal, private and public affairs. Thompson earned a master's degree in sociology from Michigan State University and a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
