American Legacy Magazine Know Your History Traveling Exhibition to Appear at Historic Reenactment Event

WHAT:   

American Legacy Magazine Know Your History tour hosts a Black History exhibition during the National Action Network's march from Selma to Montgomery.  The reenactment commemorates "Bloody Sunday," the historic march that Dr. Martin Luther King and other civil rights leaders took across the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

 

 

 

The American Legacy Know Your History traveling museum, sponsored by Tauck – a leader in the creation of enriching travel experiences, provides a memorable journey through the African-American experience and the impact made on American culture.  The exhibition is filled with photos, stories and interactive learning stations celebrating African-American History.   The Know Your History traveling museum includes: an American Legacy cover exhibit, "Always In Our Sight: The Fight For Civil Rights," an exhibit of artifacts and memorabilia from slavery to civil rights – courtesy of the Gene Alexander Peters Collection, exhibits featuring Buffalo Soldiers and Black History in aviation, and American Legacy's trivia wheel.
