The 2010 list of The Network Journal’s 40 Under Forty achievers is the 13th in the history of this highly anticipated annual list.
Thirteen years ago, when TNJ pioneered this celebration of high-achieving Black young men and women, little did we know it would become the remarkable event that it has become today, with nominations coming in from across the country and representing a wide range of industries.
In addition to the thrill of being chosen, members of the 2010 class, who are profiled in the pages that follow, will remember their year as the year that the 40 Under Forty Awards took a bold step, launching its Africa edition in November in Ghana.
Some of them, along with some of their fellow honorees from years past, may even travel to Ghana to represent their class in welcoming their African counterparts.
At least, this is TNJ’s hope. Imagine the scene — 40 Under Forty USA meets 40 Under Forty Africa! In Africa! We certainly can.
