    Karen E. Nethersole, Esq.
    Chief Executive Officer
    Full Circle NY L.L.C.
    New York, N.Y.

In 2008, Karen E. Nethersole, was a TNJ 40 Under Forty Achievement Award honoree. She subsequently transitioned from a prominent position at a Fortune 500 company to lead Full Circle NY, a branding & marketing company she founded in 2005.  FCNY has since experienced tremendous success. “I’m not afraid of challenges. I’m at ease with all things that pull me out of my comfort zone. Like Olympic Gold medalist Michael Phelps, I do back strokes comfortably as my environment around me rapidly changes.  This ability, along with utilizing my experience as an attorney, has allowed me to become a seasoned businessperson,” says Nethersole.

Nethersole credits businessman and investor Robert Gans with being a source of inspiration and guidance. She says, “Bob has taught me so much about business. He believes in me, sees my strength, and has helped me to harness every bit of it.” Gans was also instrumental in helping Nethersole secure the opportunity to partner with Trump Entertainment Resorts and Robert’s Atlantic City on a multi-million dollar expansion project at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J.

Nethersole often finds ways to give back. “I make sure that my work contributes to the community and not just the bottom line. For example, the work that I do in Atlantic City has created a significant number of jobs, and in 2013 will create hundreds more. We help to get peoples’ lives back on track,” she says.

Nethersole was born into a prominent family of Rhodes Scholars and attorneys including Noel N. Nethersole, Father of the Bank of Jamaica, W.I. and former Minister of Finance. She attended St. Francis College, graduating magna cum laude. She received her JD from Hofstra University School of Law and is admitted to the New York and Connecticut state bars and various federal courts.
