    Partner
    Sullivan & Cromwell L.L.P.
    New York City
    Age: 38

As a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell L.L.P., Tracy Richelle High happily admits that she is right where she wants to be. It’s her dream job, she asserts. “I love what I do because I enjoy tackling complex litigation matters to make them manageable and to achieve the best results for our clients. I actually would not change what I do because I really do love it.”

The Washington, D.C., native received her bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. High cites making partner with her law firm in 2008 as one of her proudest career moments to date. As a member of S&C’s Litigation Group and Criminal Defense team and Investigations practice, she has represented clients in their responding to regulatory requests and inquiries initiated by such entities as the Federal Trade Commission, New York Stock Exchange and the New York District Attorney’s Office. High is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Association of Black Women Lawyers Attorneys and the National Association of Professional Women. She is also a board member for The YMCA of New York City, Partnership for After School Education and Harvard Law School Association of New York City. High was named a tri-state multicultural leader by the National Diversity Counsel and was profiled as one of MultiCultural Law’s “Diverse Advocates.”

To de-stress, High enjoys exercising, reading and shopping. If she had the extra time and money, she muses, she would travel around the world. High credits much of her success to her mother and father for their unwavering support. And when life’s challenges present themselves, High keeps what matters most close to heart. “I always remember to have belief in God, belief in myself and belief in the Black community,” she affirms.
