    Assistant Director of Pro Personnel
    Green Bay Packers
    Green Bay, Wis.
    Age: 37

Former NFL player and single father of three, Timothy Terry is proud to be assistant director of Pro Personnel for the Green Bay Packers, winners of Super Bowl XLV. He aids in managing the personnel side of the franchise, including evaluating and acquiring players and facilitating relationships with agents and athletes. “Keeping the pulse and health of the team is at the forefront,” says Terry, who recently earned a master’s degree in management from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. “Managing going back to school, working full time, traveling while raising three young children was a challenge and I was fortunate to be able to get it done. Having my kids see me study and work toward my degree was rewarding and worth the struggle.”

Of his older brother, Reginald, the director of football administration for the Arizona Cardinals, who helped to raise him, Terry says, “Even now as a man raising a family, he’s giving good examples and continues to do so.” Gandhi’s challenge, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” carries weight with Terry. “You may have personal success with financial and professional gain, but at the end of the day, if your community and world are left the same by your presence then you have not fulfilled your full potential. I’m trying to be that change and be that positive person and example in my community and my workplace.”

Terry has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Temple University and is an active board member of Big Brother Big Sister of Green Bay and of Journey House, a nonprofit seeking to increase education, reduce unemployment and crime, strengthen families and revitalize neighborhoods. A self-proclaimed “big kid,” he enjoys watching cartoons with his children, reading comics, taking in movies and playing sports in his spare time.
