    Chief Executive Officer
    CW Global Advisory L.L.C.
    New York City
    Age: 38

Born in the United States to Jamaican parents, Christopher Whyte, CEO of CW Global Advisory L.L.C., a business and brand development advisory firm, learned the value of hard work, dedication and creating opportunities for oneself very early in life. Whyte’s mother migrated to the States with very little and worked her way up from a bank clerk to a senior position at a leading Fortune 100 financial institution. “That set the bar for me,” says Whyte.

Whyte recalls the challenge of working while managing his business education across France, Germany and China as the single most awakening and empowering thing that I’ve ever done. It has opened my eyes to the differences that make each of us so unique, but, more importantly, it’s been the best teacher of the commonalities that unite us.”
In 2003, Whyte started the Joint Interest Group, a social networking, concierge and member constituency research organization. He has provided a platform for more than 3,500 young professionals to be inspired by the personal journeys of such individuals as motivational speaker Dennis Kimbro, Ph.D.; ABC anchor Ron Claiborne; National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial; and entrepreneur and The Apprentice winner Randal Pinkett, Ph.D. Whyte was awarded The Young, Gifted and Black Entrepreneurial Award for his work with the Joint Interest Group. Through the organization, he has helped to raise more than $1 million aggregately for his philanthropic and campaign organization clients.

Whyte enjoys bike riding and he works out daily to stay fit. He is a recipient of a Global MBA from Rutgers Business School with a concentration in business strategy and global business, in partnership with France’s ESCEM School of Business Management and Germany’s
    No. 1-ranked European Business School.
