SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT and DEPUTY GENERAL COUNSEL—DIGITAL MEDIA, GLOBAL LICENSING and ANCILLARY BUSINESSES
    NICKELODEON—MTVN KIDS
    AND FAMILY GROUP
    NEW YORK CITY
    AGE: 39

Antonious Porch truly believes that everyone should make a difference in someone else’s life. Porch is currently making a positive impact in his role as senior vice president and deputy general counsel for Digital Media, Global Licensing and Ancillary Businesses at Nickelodeon / MTVN Kids and Family Group. He oversees business and legal affairs in connection with deals for Nickelodeon’s hotels, resorts, theme park attractions, theatricals and touring shows, and works on global licensing and merchandising deals for  all MTVN channels: Nickelodeon; MTV; VH1; Comedy Central; Spike TV; CMT; and BET.  “One of the best parts of my job involves spreading the message that we care about entertaining, educating and protecting kids,” says Porch. “Plus, it’s also exciting to run into someone like [record producer and radio and TV personality] Nick Cannon in the elevator.”

Porch began his career at the law firms of Latham & Watkins and Morrison & Foerster and subsequently moved in-house to the business and legal affairs department at children’s entertainment company Classic Media. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a juris doctor from Columbia University Law School. He volunteers his services at Ma-Yi Theater Co. and at the New York City affiliate of Kids Voting USA. He credits his family, strong faith and daily prayer routine for helping him combat stress. In his spare time, Porch is a self-described “gym rat,” novice runner and avid moviegoer. He has also skydived for a thrill.

Life is about maintaining a healthy work-life balance and discovering the infinite possibilities that are available, Porch says. “Five years from now, I still want to get up and be excited about the day ahead, the work that I have to do and the people that I have to partner with to get it done,” he says.
