Tamara L. Nall was a home-based entrepreneur by the age of seven. One of her childhood ventures was the Nall Sisters Library of Bessemer, Ala.  “We loved those late fees,” she recalls. Today, she is the founder, president and CEO of TLN Worldwide Enterprises Inc., also known as The Leading Niche™, a consulting firm that offers its global clientele strategic operational and technology recommendations to remain sustainable and competitive. Among its notable clients is a leading bank in West Africa, for which it developed a three-year growth strategy.

A former senior associate with management consultants Booz & Co., Nall is also the only female and youngest partner of Presidential Star, a construction, Green energy and solar installation company in Virginia that helps clients reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs and obtain greater returns on their investments. “The Green industry will experience growth similar to that of the Internet boom,” she says. “I am excited that Presidential Star is a key player in the early stages of this industry and fully expect that it will be a formidable player in the market.”

Nall serves on the advisory board of several U.S. and international institutions and mentors a number of young professionals. She earned bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and business administration from The Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University in Atlanta, respectively, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. The “perfect” venture, she says, would be “an international deal that creates global opportunities for both my community and my family.  It would also allow me to develop and mentor several multimillion dollar businesses owned by aspiring entrepreneurs.”
