Alanson Boyd

An internship at CBS Sports sparked Alanson Boyd’s interest in advertising and marketing. At the time, he was responsible for watching tapes and logging information. Today, he is the senior producer at 1WORLD Digital Inc., the nation’s leading Black-owned digital advertising agency, which he joined last December. Boyd manages all of the digital creative and technology executions for Chrysler, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Nexus Brands, NASCAR, Lowes and CaribbeanDayParade.com. 

Boyd began his interactive digital career eight years ago at Atlas DMT. During his career he has held a variety of positions on both the vendor and agency sides of the digital business. From these experiences, a determined Boyd learned that “asking questions is not a sign of weakness.” Rather, he believes, “asking smart questions allows you to serve your clients more effectively.”

He considers himself a “ROI” (return on investment) man, having learned early in his career that the key to success for any agency is “great creative” that offers the best ROI. This belief, coupled with his approach of educating clients on concepts and decisions, has served Boyd well. In addition to those he now has, he has produced, developed and executed online advertising campaigns and strategic interactive marketing initiatives for high-end clients like Nike, Nokia, Wal-Mart, ABC, Virgin Airlines, Volvo, Lean Cuisine and Oscar Mayer.

Boyd has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and an associate degree in applied science in computer information systems from DeVry University. He treasures his opportunities to travel. A recent trip to Kenya that included a three-day safari was a treat for the avid Discover Channel fan.
